The Reading Cat

I'd Kill for You

I'd Kill for You - Alan Plessinger
Was the book description accurate? The book description was accurate and Lisa was definitely an interesting character to read about. She comes alive through Plessinger's writing and the reader is hot on her tracks as she tries to make sense of what is happening.

How did you feel about the opening / ending sequences of the book? The introduction appears to be a little slow. The author lets the reader in on the location, characters and provides a good introduction to the plot. Then, as Lisa starts to run, things pick up and you won't be able to put this book down.

There were sections when I felt there was too much said about a single location but in some ways this set the mood for the action that was about to come. It was if the reader is calmed down, and then "boom". I liked that.

Was this book worth reading? Yes, this was definitely a good book. However, as it is only available in paperback and as most of us are switching to ereaders, it was a bit difficult for me to recommend this book other book club members.

Disclosure - I received a complimentary copy from the author which did not affect my honest opinion.
