Playing the Genetic Lottery - Terri Morgan
Did the book description relate to the story? What description? The space for description is cluttered with what other people think about the book and offers little insight into what is coming.

How did you feel about the opening / ending sequences of the book? I liked the opening sequence more than the ending. The author brings to light a real medical condition. Although, the story and characters are fictional the condition is not. The author's writing style in merging these two elements made the book a good read.

Who was your favourite character and why? Caitlin. She seems so torn about her past and yet she cannot move forward without first dealing with her issues. Very good character development.

What were the main relationships explored in this book? Parenting. Having grown up with two schizophrenic parents, Caitlin's view of the world is somewhat distorted and the reader is given an insight into how she feels and copes with this.

Was this book worth reading? It is definitely worth reading and I look forward to recommending the book to my other book club members.

Disclosure - I received a complimentary copy from the author which did not affect my honest opinion.
