What were the main themes of the book? Betrayal, acceptance, friendship, love. The author wrote a book that I will think about for years to come. Utterly stunned while reading this, the author based this on a real life event.
Describe 2 different settings or locations. I refuse to give my favorite. If I did, it would give away everything with the plot. I do not want to ruin it for other readers.
One - Jackee, learns that she is able to communicate with her boys. This was truly a great play with words and a very creative imagination.
Two - After Jackee wakes up from surgery and realizes that she is only thinking thought and not able to communicate with others. This would be hard to accept. Knowing that I was able to complete anything before and now after a minor surgery not able to even feed myself.
Were you able to connect with the main character and why? Oh yes, Jackee was very easy to connect with. Her closest relationships appear to be flawed and she slowly discovers the people she trusted have betrayed her.
Which did you find more appealing, the introduction or the conclusion? I enjoyed the conclusion. It wrapped everything up nicely.
I received this book in exchange for a read/review. This in no way influenced my opinion of the book.
